Baby Clothes

10 ways to make a memento out of old baby clothing

It's come to my attention, well actually I've known for a while, that babies go through clothes quite quickly.  Whether it’s because they grow too fast or you saved them for ‘special’ and ‘special’ didn't come around very often, you end up with a heap of baby clothes that don't fit anymore.

But with the sentimental value, where those cute and tiny clothes are full of memories, you don't want to give them away. And if you’re like me and running out of space and hiring a builder to build a storage facility is not an option then you'll want to check out these crafty ideas on ways to upcycle baby clothes.

From a simple project like the Framed Favourites to the more complicated project like the Baby Memory Quilts there is sure to be something that will inspire you to make a memento out of your old baby clothes.

Thank you for these fantastic ideas. Thanks to the increased baggage allowance, I have just brought a suitcase full of baby clothes from NZ back to the UK to make some baby memories for my grand-daughters. I shall be able to return the finished items next year.
Other great re-cycling ideas as well. We all need to re-think ways to use our rubbish instead of it going to landfill sites.
