Up, up and away! Planes and hot air balloons birthday party ideas
Who doesn't dream of flying up, up and away? There is something so sweet about the ideas of floating up high above the clouds.
This gorgeous first birthday party for little Elliot from Fairy Floss Party and Favours is the ultimate planes and hot air balloon birthday party.
Shown here are some very simple ideas, like the marshmallows with propellers decorated on them in icing.
There are also some fairly elaborate, beautiful concepts like the cloud wall created with balloons in shades of blue.
The little lunchboxes function as loot bags – how practical! If you shop around you can find cute lunchboxes very inexpensively, and by attaching a little cut out plane you’ll be right on theme. A few vintage suitcases, an old passport or two, and you’ll be right on track for your own up, up and away party!
You're sure to be able to find many props around the house or inexpensively in toy shops.
These are simply yellow cups and plates with little printables stuck on them. Check out the internet or try creating your own to make something extra special.
We think this is one of the nicest birthday themes we've seen for a while! This planes and hot air balloons birthday party would work for both boys and girls and with a little imagination, you can great a delightful party. We're pretty sure Elliot loved his party!
