It’s Wool Babe

No series of articles on baby sleeping bags would be complete without featuring the Woolbabe. So despite having featured it before, here we are again.

Why, you may ask? Well, because my toddler sleeps in one. Like a dream. Since moving her into the Woolbabe we have enjoyed peaceful nights, and… sleep ins. Oh yes, sleep ins. If only the youngest of the family would do the same, I might be able to have one too!

Daylight savings came and went like a breeze for the toddler – wrapped up nice, comfy and warm in her Woolbabe, it’s been taking me going into her room most mornings to wake her up and get her out of bed anyway.

The winter weight Woolbabe sleeping bags have a nice quilted cotton lined wool filled inner with a lovely merino wool / cotton blend outer. This means that the smooth cotton is next to your little ones skin, while still being kept snuggly in wool.

Our little girl has the zip front design – while a little harder for mum and dad to do up, it’s also proving to be toddler proof, meaning that she doesn’t unzip herself during the night.

Woolbabe sleeping bags are available from The Sleep Store (both NZ and Australian stores).
