It’s not often I get to actually get out and about to the baby shops these days, so it was a real treat on the weekend for me to be able to pop in to Plimmerton on my way home from Wellington and check out the gorgeous new boutique, Baby Vintage.

A very sweet little shop on the main road into Plimmerton, Baby Vintage has a stunning range of both preloved and new baby and maternity clothing, furniture and toys.

The first thing that struck me was the fabulous decals they had adorning their walls – their selection includes Forwalls, Blik and Little Chipipi - as well as the gorgeous shaped mirrors and bunting they’ve managed to source. Their clothing racks include Nature Baby, Sweet Checks, Oobi and some funky handmade items from Made It Baby amongst others. The shop really is a little treasure trove, with gems such as the Wishbone Bike, Dulce & Zoet slings, Baby Legs and trinkets and toys scattered throughout.

And I love the fact that they’ve found a way to re-love the preloved – with pocket friendly prices, their preloved section is chock full of high quality, gently worn and well loved clothing for both the little ones and mums to be.
