Hape Bamboo Sunshine Doll HouseIt’s sunshine… on a cloudy day…6 December 2010So, rainy days aren’t really anything we have to worry about right now, but Christmas is and as a result I have become dolls house obsessed as it’s what my little girl REALLY, REALLY wants from Santa. There are millions of dolls houses on the market now, but this one from Hape is one of my absolute favorites. Environmentally friendly, it is made from sustainable birch plywood and bamboo. Other than the fact it is a stunning design, the thing I love the most about it is the fact it has a fully functional solar panel that operates the dolls house LED lights. A technically 3 storey house (check out the ‘mezzanine’ type level at the top), the three lucite panels can be moved to separate rooms or become walls. All in all, it’s a funky thoughtful design, and definitely one for the eco-conscious.
