Mini-eco is one of my all time favourite blogs. Kate is one of those mums that I am in complete awe of, her creativity and talent is beyond words. Here is the round up on my personal top 10 tutorials from her blog from last year:

1. The Balloon bongo, rice shaker & guiro. I actually made this with my toddler and my kids LOVED it. Quick and easy, and the perfect distraction for a rainy day.

2. Naturally dyed playdough. Made with yummy ingredients such as beetroot, blueberries, and tumeric.

3. Eco-friendly bubble solution. We go through this stuff in our house like nobodies business so to speak. Our bubble machine has been in constant use over the last few days - hours of easy entertainment!

4. Homemade pavement chalk. What better way to decorate the driveway?

5. The Hoot Hoot Printables. We featured this one during the year and I’ve had it bookmarked to actually make it ever since. Maybe I need to add it to my list of new years resolutions!

6. The Kaleidoscope made from a kitchen roll (and other household goodies). Definitely brings back some childhood memories.

7. Paper beads. This is another bookmarked item for me – bring on the next rainy weekend!

8. DIY fishing games. Another one that was featured during the year.

9. Origami paper garlands, decorations and chains. There’s something therapeutic about the simplicity of paper art.

10. Lion & Crocodile ‘color-me-in’ printables. These have already provided plenty of fun in this house!
