Handmade Heaven: Go Benny Go!

Go go go!

Aimee Brock
26 July 2011

The saying life imitates art rings true for Brenda, the creator of new children’s art label called Go Benny Go! Just as her label’s name conveys energy and speed, so too has her business grown - from scratch to a thriving small business - in just a few short months.

Brenda’s secret? Cute, original stylised images built around little animal characters ‘’on the go’’, doing things that children and adults instantly connect with. Each print is designed stimulate a child’s imagination into filling in the back story, which might be different every night.

They are also designed to become a keep sake momento of childhood and are strong enough to last a life time. Each canvas print has a couple of coats of laminate, protecting against UV fading, scratching, and water. It also contains anti-fungal components. The prints are hand-stretched over high quality kiln-dried New Zealand pine stretcher bars.

My favourites are the little bunny girls shaking a tree and playing in the leaves – as well as the cute little bunny asleep on the moon

Brenda’s giving away five of her Counting posters to Go Benny Go Facebook likers this month. Prize winners are drawn on 31st July.  She is also offering a discount code called BITES which gives 8% off. The code is valid only at www.gobennygo.com, and available until the end of September 2011.

So hop on over and tell her babybites sent you!
