I know from experience that a simple horse head attached to a stick can keep the little ones amused for hours – it’s amazing where their imaginations and ‘trusty steed’ will take them.  Little Old Nags Hobby Horses are handmade in Auckland.  They come in two varieties, Trusty Steeds (pictured) and Pretty Ponies.  Personally I love the traditional simplicity of the corduroy Trusty Steed.  Priced from $55 NZD on Felt.
