Go Green: Taika

Handmade Wooden Toys

Kate Hoy
4 July 2011

I must admit I am a little obsessed with all things wooden and blackboard paint at the moment.  I am sure if my husband would allow it, our whole house would be filled with objects covered in blackboard paint!  While searching for ideas I stumbled across Taika, the brainchild of Daniel Rolleston.

Not only has Daniel managed to create some very funky wooden children’s bikes, he has painted one version in blackboard paint... *Drool*!  Taika was created when Daniel started making wooden toys for his son, and naturally went on to fill a demand in the market and the company was born.  Taika ships internationally so you can get your piece of cool no matter where you live!
