I was delighted when a sample of Green Monkey organic baby food turned up in my letterbox. My little girl is 6 ½ months now, and we spend quite a bit of our time trying new flavours and textures.

I love the purity of organic food, knowing exactly what I’m feeding her, and it’s great to able to buy quality prepackaged food to have on hand when going away or when I’m running short of time to prepare food myself.

Alexis made heaps of her ‘mmmm’ yummy noises and ate the entire packet, less the little bit I sampled myself. I was really surprised that I could taste the difference over other baby food brands - it was really flavoursome and tasted very fresh.

The Green Monkey baby food pouches are made from 100% organic, New Zealand grown foods. They are all dairy, egg, wheat, gluten and soy free, so perfect as first foods or for those who have allergies. Nikki Hart is their nutritional advisor, and there is some great information on weaning on their website, including a full meal plan developed by Nikki. Their range is suitable for 6 months onwards, and will nicely complement other foods for older babies and toddlers.
