At a mere 2.5kg’s by itself (or 3.6kg’s with mattress, all packed up ), and the ability to pack up into a compact travel bag that’s only 60cm long, it’s perfect for plane trips, will take up next to no room in the car boot, and won’t cause you any hassles with public transport.

As well as the expected Phil & Ted’s contemporary and modern design, it has some fantastic features, including a self-inflating thermally insulating mattress, netting windows to keep fresh air coming in and the mosquitoes out, zip down sides for easy access, and an optional zip-on UV shade.

We love it for camping and outdoor use.
