'Drastic' diet?

What do you think?

20 June 2010

I had a huge weekend of eating! Birthdays galore so I have consumed, cake, about 2kgs of Yum Yum sauce (yay for Daikoku), lamingtons, chips, sausage rolls and so so much more. I did try and keep my head (or should I say my 1.5kg lighter frame) by eating like a weight watcher outside of those times which was a success. However I am now way to scared to go anywhere near the scales!!!

Over the week I didn’t lose any additional weight but did manage to keep the 1.5 kg off and stop obsessing about food and what I can and cannot eat. I now feel somewhat ‘divorced’ from food which is much healthier for me. In terms of exercise I simply didn’t do enough. I went to my Karate classes twice and didn’t do a thing outside of that! I am like a child thinking of excuses not to go to bed, oh its too cold, oppps waited too long and now it is raining, oh no the nanny has the pram etc etc etc, the Queen of procrastination! I will change that this week, if I am going to act like a child then I will treat myself like a child!

To be honest I have been tossing up doing a ‘drastic’ diet. I have a birthday coming up and a girls night and would love to lose a few (or 10! Just kidding). I don’t want to do anything dangerous or be socially irresponsible but I am here to lose weight! I have a friend who swears by this 4 day diet and it really works for her (lost 4.7kg) – maybe that? Or a detox? Liquid diet? Has anyone tried anything that really worked for them?? Email me – susan@kiddycouture.co.nz with your ideas and I will try one out – this week!!
