Polka Summer 2010

Queensland Based Designers Marika and Jo opened a fresh can of fun this season with a dynamically daring Polka Summer 2010 collection. With two storylines to tempt you – Candy Store versus the Ice-cream Parlour, the girls have produced a collection nothing short of extraordinary.

Licorice All sorts inspired classic black and white stripes paired with pops of contrasting colour. Flirty frills highlight the girls Yoga Bum Shorts, All Sorts Party Dress and Tea For Two Singlets with bursts of yellow, hot pink and green. Offering a selection of plaid for the boys, the Patchwork Shorts and Par 4 Waistcoat have the staple basics in grey, blue and white to pair back with.

The Ice-cream Parlour was recreated through delicious pastel delights in stripes, mauve and grey mélanges. With soft cotton t-shirt dresses, jumpsuits and frilled shorts for the girls and asymmetric detailing, patchwork shorts and raw edge tees for the boys, you won’t be able to resist any flavour with a variety of styles all on the menu!
