Sausage Mummies

Follow our recipe to make these fun sausage mummies for Halloween party food ideas.

Ingredients:
  • 1 sheet of frozen savoury pastry
  • Pack of sausages
  • 1 egg
  • Tomato sauce
  1. Pre-heat your over to 180 degrees (fan ovens)
  2. Thaw the pastry as per packet instructions
  3. Take a sharp knife and slice vertical strips out of the pastry sheet
  4. Starting a quarter of the way down a sausage, start to roll the pastry strip around, pinching the pastry together at the end.
  5. Take half a strip, and roll around the top of the sausage to make the mummies' hat.
  6. Lay in a baking tray lined with baking paper and cook in the pre-heated over for 20 minutes or until cooked
  7. Use tomato sauce to make the mummies' eyes.
