Feeding Little TummiesCooking for your childAnne Sanders6 June 2012 I discovered this book (the earlier version – Cooking for your Child) years ago when my first child was starting solids. Two more children later, my now dog-eared copy is one of the most loved books in our kitchen. Feeding little tummies (the latest, revised edition which I now use) is much more than just a cookbook, or a guide to introducing solids, I consider it my “go-to” book for the basics of child nutrition. As we all know, balancing good fuel with emerging tastes and preferences can be a challenge! Beautifully presented, with mouth-watering images throughout; Feeding little tummies is full of delicious, healthy recipes. It also includes hundreds of facts and tips that are a great reference to help you better understand the minefield that is child nutrition (and in my case, improve the taste of my cooking!). The author, Nicola Galloway, is a qualified chef, nutrition consultant and mum of two. This unique mix is a fantastic background for writing such a book. It means you can not only trust the recipes are nutritionally balanced for children, they also taste great and are likely to tempt even the most wilful toddlers. Well organised, easy to follow, and above all full of tasty recipes and suggestions. I'd recommend this book to anyone with children, not just babies or toddlers.
