Art StationsCreating Art Heaven for your Little OnesVanessa Rehm10 June 2012 As if I don’t have enough beautiful paintings to deal with from Kindy, I’m thinking about ways to get my kids watching less TV and getting more creative at home. Whilst dropping off my 3 year old to Kindy today, Master 17 months just couldn’t get enough at the paint station. I let him have a play and he painted a masterpiece, but every time I tried to get him to leave, he wanted to do more. I realised he would love to be doing this kind of thing too and it doesn’t seem fair to make him miss out because he’s not at Kindy yet. There are so many amazing ideas out there for setting up an art station at home. It can be as simple or elaborate as you decide, your budget can stretch or your space allows. I think it would be so lovely to have a dedicated space that is set up permanently where the kids could do and get busy without the hassle of having to set up the paints, crayons, pens every time they wanted to craft. Now I just have to convince Daddy that there is space in the living area for said station! Wish me luck! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Image source credits: Better Home & Gardens, Poppies at Play, Isabella Nadler, Crazy About My Baybah, Discovery Days & Montessori Moments, Shelterness, Tonya Stabb, Modern Parents Messy Kids, Houzz, Project Nursery, Apartment Therapy Repurposed cot project details: A Little Learning for Two Vanessa Rehm is a full-time SAHM who is the talent behind the gorgeous and fabulous online boutique, Bubbalino. |
