Down that Little LaneStroll down the laneAnne Sanders24 July 2012 I love finding unique little treasures, (my inner magpie is never too far from the surface) so I was very excited to discover an entire collection of treasures, all in one virtual place! Down that Little Lane (DTLL) takes all the hard work out of finding the coolest, most divine and innovative products for kids. There are also grownup categories including home wares, clothing, weddings and gifts, but I'll focus on the kids here. The model is similar to well known sites like Etsy, where the site is a "marketplace" or home to many different sellers with one checkout. What sets DTLL apart however, is that not just anyone can sell, all the products are all hand picked. The aim of DTLL is to find quality, niche and often bespoke or customisable products. Sellers are unearthed by DTLL and invited to join, alternatively they can apply to sell but will only be accepted if their products fit the story. Down that Little Lane is Australian, but the sellers are worldwide. NZ's own Green with Envy, Nodoff (recently reviewed here by Babybites) and Lou's shoes all feature on DTLL. Here are a few of my picks for kids. With new sellers being added all the time, I am certain to return and stroll down the lane often!
