‘Handmade for Christchurch’ started off as a group of crafty ladies raising money for Christchurch earthquake charities on facebook and rapidly became one of the fastest growing facebook charity pages and hot Trade Me seller. Often the best ideas start small, and using Trade Me as the base of their auctions has attracted a whole new range of people buying handmade in order to help raise money for Christchurch.

The auctions usually run for a few days, so you’ve got to be in quick. Here’s a range of children’s auction items up for sale this week:
