Duck Duck Moose iPhone AppsThe wheels on the bus go…27 March 2011My iphone is definitely my iphone. Before getting it, I didn’t know what the big deal is, now, I don’t think I could live without it. But, one of the upsides of having it is that when the kids are getting grumpy at the end of an hour long wait in the doctors surgery, or having their hair cut, pulling the iphone out and letting them play on it (supervised of course!) can reduce the tantrum ratio considerably. Firm favorites with the kids are Wheels on the Bus and Itsy Bitsy Spider from Duck Duck Moose. Both have won Parents Choice Awards, and it’s easy to see why. High quality graphics, lots of cute little ‘hidden features’ (my little girl is fascinated with the squirrel in Itsy Bitsy Spider and my boy the eggs), fabulous ‘we all know it’ music, and being exceptionally easy to use (which becomes particularly obvious when an 18 month old can just pick it up and go for it), ensure these app’s will be played over, and over, and over, and over… Both apps cost $1.29 NZD on iTunes. ![]() ![]() ![]()
