Lately I’ve been buying all of my books from The Book Depository.  The exchange rate is pretty good, by and large the books are considerably cheaper than NZ stores, and they offer free delivery.   Average time to ship appears to be about 7 days.  I’m sold.  Maybe that’s not quite the right term – with the number of books I’m now buying, I should be saying “I’m addicted”.

One of my recent purchases was The Rainbow Book from Kate Ohrt.  My little girl is three, and she’s in the process of learning colours, and this book connects colours to emotions.  Each page is a single colour with an intricate paper cutting, with a simple phrase at the bottom “When I feel (colour), I am...”  It’s a simple and beautiful book that will be loved by parents and children alike.
