The
Mountain Buggy freerider has been getting a lot of attention, and we can finally confirm it’s on its way, and Mountain Buggy will be starting to take pre-orders in only a couple of weeks.
So here are a few details we know a few of you have been waiting with baited breath to find out!

The recommended retail price is $122 NZD

It will be available in orange, blue, pink and black

It weighs 2.2kg and can take a load of up to 15kg

It connects to all of the Mountain Buggy range – the swift, urban jungle, duo and the soon to be realised inline model, the +one. Most of Mountain Buggy's earlier models are also compatible (swift, urban, urban elite and double urban), AND connectors will be coming out that allows the freerider to attached to other brands including the Baby Jogger, Bebe Comfort, BOB, Bugaboo, Brio, Quinny, TFK and many more!

It can be used both on and off the buggy and if not being used at all it can be fastened up the back of the buggy so it’s not getting in your way at all

And in case we hadn’t mentioned it already, it scooped the innovation award in the category of World of Moving Baby & Travelling Baby Accessories, at the 2010 Kind + Jugend industry event.
