Roadtested: Verite Spa Eczema Balm

Soothing & Protecting

Jodi Mitchell
07 January 2011

Eczema seems to be the burden of many-a-parents life these days, mine included. My little girl’s is worse sometimes than others, and the cause seems to be one of those mysteries that will never be solved.

The lovely Janin from Verite Spa Organics sent me a sample of their eczema balm to test out, and what I can now say is that this is one product that has worked for us! It’s organic, ecologically conscious and New Zealand made – all big pluses in my book. The texture is a little hard to describe – it’s kind of waxy and oily, which is actually fantastic as it keeps moisturising the skin for a decent amount of time after application, stopping the eczema from drying out and cracking.

The Verite Spa Organics Eczema Balm is $18 NZD a tub from the Verite Spa website. While you’re there make sure you check out the full range – there’s load of other fantastic natural skin products for bubs, and some beauties for mum too!
