Made4Baby Belly Oil

It’s a Miracle!

When Rebecca from Made4Baby and I were first talking about their new Belly Oil, I think we were both a bit skeptical about whether or not it would help me.  I was 14 months post birth of my second child.  My stretch marks weren’t the worst I had seen, but they were definitely there, noticeable and a nice standout pink in color.  But, figuring there was no harm in giving it a try, a bottle was soon winging its way down to Wellington to me.

In order to ensure it was a fair trial, I used it every day for four weeks.  I used it at least once a day in the morning, and quite often a second time in the evening.  I covered my entire stomach and hip area – I made sure no section of stretch mark was left uncovered!

So, first things first, an important note to make is that I hadn’t used any belly oils during or post pregnancy for a single reason – every one I had tried I had reacted to.  I’m one of those people with super sensitive skin that rashes at the mere smell of a reactive ingredient.  Test one down and passed!  If nothing else at this point I figured I now had a fabulous new moisturizer solution.

The second point I have to make is that the Made4Baby Belly Oil isn’t like a normal oil, most of which seem to sit on your skin and make you feel like an oil slick.  It absorbed nicely, and left the skin feeling nice and soft.

Up to point number three.  The smell.  Natural oils have a tendency to be, well, pungent.  I’m not a fan of pungent.  The Made4Baby Belly Oil has a very subtle pleasant smell that you simply don’t notice, which is fantastic, no need to have something else mixing in with my perfume!

Now we are down to the most important part.  The stretch marks.  At the end of four weeks, you’d never even know I had any.  That’s right, not a single mark in sight.  I should have taken before and after photos, and feel terrible for not doing so.

I didn’t think it would work as well as it did, but it did.  It’s a miracle.  Apparently it’s the secret ingredient – the Moroccan Argan Oil.

If you want to give it a go for yourself, the Made4Baby Belly Oil is $19.95 for a bottle, or $37 for two bottles, from the Made4Baby website and stockists nationwideLet us know how you get on!
