Go Green: EverEarth by Maxim Ltd

An Eco-Friendly way to play

I love wooden toys and always try to seek these out for my son. I remember when I was a child my grandfather and father used to make me wooden toys, rockers and furniture. I remember a giraffe clothes horse, a wooden swan rocker, a wardrobe with a clock and mice and many more. I truly loved them and the fact that they were made especially for me! So there it is I have a soft spot for wooden toys. Wooden toys are tough, last through generations of boisterous kids!

I have just stumbled across this great range called EverEarth by Maxim. They have been manufacturing wooden toys for over 45 years and have now taken their “green” efforts a little further by manufacturing with wood taken from renewable forests, as well as recycled rubber wood and using water color based paints that contain less chemicals.

They have such great little ideas like the organic farm set, fairy tale dollhouse and busy pond activity centre to name a few! I am not sure if they are available in New Zealand at this stage but they are super cute!
