Book of the week: Knuffle BunnyA Cautionary Tale by Mo Willems20 September 2010Hands up whose little one has a special cuddly? Both of mine do… my daughter is very attached to her Nici monkey and won’t sleep without him and a few other friends from the Nici jungle (they have great conversations and sing alongs before finally drifting off at nights), and my little boy has to have a Cuski or chaos will reign (we have four of them and he prefers to sleep with two at all times!). Now imagine something disastrous happening to that cuddly… And that is the story of the Knuffle Bunny. A charming story (and I have to admit, relatively quick and easy read) from Mo Willems, the photography and illustration combination of the pictures really make this book. Definitely worth a place on the bookcase, thankfully the book has a happy ending (we don’t want any kiddies having nightmares about losing their cuddly do we?!) $16.97 NZD from Fishpond.
