I have long been a fan of
minu, but admittedly haven't had a chance to check out her recent works until Craft 2.0 last weekend. To say I was quite taken was a bit of an understatement. I have been back to her website several times over since then, and find myself completely lost in her work, particularly the Lilu series which is "inspired by the – often forgotten – loneliness of growing up. Lilu finds safety and security in her ‘imaginary’ friends. The characters stand for the desire to be someone else – to shape ones own skin, as well as to create your own story, changing the reality around you."
