One of the first exhibits that caught my eye at the trade show was the fabulous
Mon*star Kids clothing. Designed and made in Australia (and about to hit the NZ market), this beautiful brand simply oozes quality! Catering for kids 0-12, creator Fiona Roy has produced a stunning range for winter using colours that will brighten up even the bleakest of days. I absolutely love the shades of red and pink mixed up with a funky grey for girls in everything from tops and leggings to pinafores and pocket dresses. Featuring sweet little hearts and quirky prints, these pieces are a must-have item in any little girl's wardrobe this winter. My sister-in-law and I both drooled over the exquisite Folk Heart dress for our little Misses.
The boys have certainly not been forgotten though with gorgeous graphic prints in an array of colours - my favourite would have to be the onesie with the adorable little red elephant print. So, so sweet! While the boys range only caters for kids up to the age of 8 they have definitely been spoilt for choice with a selection of funky graphics ranging from robots and sneakers to muscle cars and spanners.
Fiona was a delight to chat to at the exhibit and more than happy to answer the various array of questions we had for her. At one point she even offered to rock my screaming 4 month old Oscar in his pram so that we could have a better look. Love this brand even more now!
