Book of the Week: The Pigeon SeriesGo on, let the pigeon drive the bus!9 August 2010Following on from last week's book of the week (Leonardo the Terrible Monster), we really wanted to showcase more of Mo Willems and his fabulous works as an author and illustrator. The Pigeon Series started with "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!" and now has multiple titles in the series including "Don't Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late!", "The Pigeon Finds a Hotdog!" and "The Pigeon Has Feelings Too!". The books are delightfully illustrated with their simple drawings and speech bubble story telling, and are laugh out loud funny with the Pigeon being a memorable fella full of attitude and character. The books are available from Fishpond for $16.97 NZD each.
