Does the word ‘vintage’ make your ears prick up and your head turn? If it does, then Inke Heiland from the Netherlands is a company guaranteed to make you smile in glee.



Inke produces a range of wall silhouettes that are truly unique. Each of their designs, which range of elephants, to crocodiles, donkeys, and owls, all the way through to trees, chairs and lamps, are available in an extensive range of genuine vintage papers (77 at present). The adhesive they use is an ecological product produced by Auro in Germany, so ideal for the nursery, and the fabulous range of papers means you’re guaranteed to find something to match your décor.

I’m inspired, truly inspired. These designs have me rethinking my own little girl’s bedroom all over again.

Prices start at €16.40 for a couple of birds, through to €58.50 for an elephant, and €195 for a tree. Shipping to New Zealand at €100 means that this will be far from your cheapest ever purchase, but it’s pretty safe to say that you’re not likely to come across another one the same on this side of the world!
