If there was such a thing as a hybrid nappy, gDiapers are it. Consisting of a washable cotton outer, and a plastic-free flushable/compostable/disposable liner, they provide a little bit of the best of both worlds in the cloth vs disposable nappy debate.

gDiapers are well marketed and are some of the funkiest looking nappies we’ve come across, which probably explains why we’ve had enquiries about how New Zealanders can get their hands on them. Unfortunately, unless you’re lucky enough to own a US issued credit card (in which case, buy them directly from the gDiapers website and get them shipped to you), you can’t.

You can however, purchase Eenee’s. You see, gDiapers began by purchasing the US rights to Eenee Eco Nappies from Tasmania. While not available in the same range of designs and colors as gDiapers, the base product/concept is still the same and they are readily available in New Zealand!
